Woodshedding Beer

Made by Woodshedding on the Westcombe farm, these beers have a real sense of place, caring about where their ingredients come from and how their grown, and sourcing them directly from farmers whose practices help restore soil health and rebuild ecological systems. 

Simple and delightfully drinkable beers, the collection are inspired by rich British and German traditions that are informed by the heritage of Owner and Brewmaster Adrian Peskin.

Choose from: 

Luncheon: An ale inspired by historical English table beers that were meant for immediate home consumption. Relatively low in alcohol content at 3%, this makes a brilliant companion to cheese!

Twigz: A classic English Pale Ale, using a heritage barley variety - Plumage Archer, which is grown organically by David Wilson in the Cotswolds. A rounded flavour makes for easy drinking.

Dunkel: The oldest of all beer styles, dating back to Bavaria in 1516. A darker beer, with real nuttiness and bready undertones, which come from the YQ population wheat grown by Fred Price at Gothelney Farm.

Landbier: A pale lager that uses regeneratively grow grains, from both David Wilson’s Plumage Archer heritage barley and Fred Price’s YQ population wheat.
