Selected Pitchfork Cheddar
The newest addition to the traditional Somerset Cheddars, Pitchfork is made by the Trethowan Brothers’ Dairy near Weston-Super-Mare. 12 months old and rich and tangy in flavour, it’s a more subtle and citrussy cheddar, with a beautifully creamy texture.
Ingredients: unpasteurised milk, salt, animal rennet, starter cultures.
Cloth bound in lard.
