Hecks Cider

£3.75

The Hecks family have been making traditional farmhouse cider in Somerset for six generations, since 1841, beginning to sell their cider from their farm shop in Street in 1896.

All the apples are grown on their orchards and then blended and fermented in wooden barrels for a rich depth of flavour.

Choose from:

Brown’s Apple: Grown in Devon the early part of the 20th century, Brown’s has been a popular choice of apple for cider makers, as it produces a crisp, acidic cider with elderflower over-tones.

Slack-ma-girdle: A really memorable cider, this is a medium dry yet fruity one with an intriguing walnut aftertaste.

Kingston Black: The Kingston Black arose in Somerset in the late 19th Century and produces here a cider that is classic in appearance, taste and strength. A copper-coloured, rounded and smooth textured drink, it’s full of flavour and medium sweetness.
